My husband and I became parents only 3 years ago. We worked so hard to keep our careers on
track and raise a new life in this world. We used to love travelling to new places before
and when our toddler was old enough, we decided to gift ourselves a visit to Munnar, Kerala.
We chose Rivulet resorts.
Munnar was quite far away from our house in Karnataka. We were really tired after all the
travelling when we arrived at our destination. But the serene waters, the cool breeze and
the tall green hills uplifted our spirits. Our child was excited to be in a new place where
we had the music of the river rather than the buzz of a city. It was a huge advantage that
our room was facing the flowing river and we could have our fun family time on the balcony.
The days were filled with our child’s laughter and giggles as he was filled with wonder and
curiosity the place gave him. The staff was sensible about our child’s needs and made sure that
we had a good time. The rooms were spacious for the three of us to be comfortable. We engaged in
several activities at the resort that further bonded us as a family.
Our son got to try different cuisines and we were so happy to see our son developing new likes
and dislikes and how he communicated them. It was amazing to see how he was calm throughout the
journey which enabled us to enjoy the trip as well. The resort we chose is the best family
resort here in Munnar. As time progresses, we hope we can come back here again when he gets
older and remind him of what he used to do as a child. Here the time seems beautiful, it seems
fulfilling, it seems worthy of all the struggles.
